National Representive
Dear Bros and Sis, Herb Davison, my best friend just left tonight for a tour of duty in Iraq. Herb is a
Viet Nam Vet and an officer in Soldier's For Christ Motorcycle Min. We have been riding together since
about 1993. We have traveled and assisted in setting up the Viet Nam, all over the East Coast of the USA.
He is a fine Christian and a great person. Herb is married to an equally fine Christian wife, Glenda,
Please remember her in your prayers also. Herb is going on a mission for the Lord so, even though
I feel like I'm missing my right arm I'll support him in any way I can. I ask you just to keep him and her
in your daily prayers. Thank You
Larry Joe Edington, Nat'l Rep

Chapter “B” (Borger, TX)
Hi everyone from Chapter "B" Warm weather is on the way and we are gearing up for another
great summer. Let’s all stand in agreement in prayer for one another, that God continues
to lead our footsteps and provide us with opportunities to spread His word. We want you
to help us welcome our newest probate Buddy Wellsley. We believe God is going to open new
doors with this brother. We had the pleasure of being visited by a few people that are
going to be firing up a new chapter in Amarillo, TX, so be praying for them. We have also
been working with the Pampa chapter for Hardcore ministries. Some of us have helped them
with their upcoming poker run to benefit the Red Cross. The same group came to support and
help us with our Christmas run. The Bible teaches unity between believers, and we are
putting that scripture to work. Love you all and can't wait to see all of you at Nationals.
I finally got the info you
needed for nationals. It starts Friday @ noon June the 27th to Sunday
the 29th. Go to the south side of Laverne Okla. Look for the signs. It
will be held at Midwest Apostolic campground. There are RV hookups and
places to pitch tents. There are 10 cabins that sleep 20 people. They
have air conditioners and 2 bathrooms per cabin. Cost is 50.00 per night
per cabin. This is not bad if you consider price per person. There is a
community building and chapel on the site. Come planning on staying at
the camp because there are no motels in Laverne. Closest motel is 40 or
so miles away. There is a convenience store and restaurants close by if
you need anything.
If you have any more questions call me at 806-665-2176 or email me at
rev_gravy@yahoo.com and I will
get back to you as soon as possible.
Love your brother in Christ,
Gravy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter “C”
Well here we are it is spring and time to get those motorcycles out and RIDE. It is also time for all those great times to get out and enjoy all the great brotherhood and sisterhood by getting all those fundraisers and all other activities that we all cherish.
We have had some great fundraisers for the national rally coming up on June 27,28 &29, which included a spaghetti dinner on Mar5, 08, over 40 people attended and raised approximately $375.00.
We also have had several other activities and have raised several hundreds of dollars for the national rally. One of the more recent fundraisers was on Mar 22,08 where we sold all kinds of great foods and drinks. The gracious people who attended to brave the chilly weather were, Nancy, Louie, Jill, John, Bonnie, Tommy, Dennis and myself. Thank you all for all your hard work which without the fundraiser would not have been possible. The chapter raised over $300.00 and had a great time.
One of the truly great rides of the year was escorting the Vietnam Moving Memorial Wall from Amarillo, TX, To Perryton, TX.
The towns where the chapter stopped to show the wall were Pampa Tx Canadian Tx Panhandle Tx. White Deere Tx. Pampa Tx. and Miami Tx. What a truly great honor this was for our chapter. The brave riders, who will attest that was a very cold ride included Paul & Erma from Chapter D, Louie&Nancy from chapter C, Pastor Dee from chapter C, Bill Bower from chapter C and Gentry & Lisa also from chapter C.
Upcoming events for the spring are Dalton Days in Meade, KS, which will be held on June 6,7 & 8th.
Congratulations to Louie and Nancy on their new grandson Isaiah Aaron Clap.
Thank you to all who have helped on all of our chapters endeavors to raise money for all the great things that we do.
Have fun at the national rally and ride safe.
Chapter “I”
Hello to all from beautiful Beaver Dam Kentucky the home of SFC chapter "I". I
really don't understand the name of our town, we have no beavers...the tree gnawing
type or dams...the holding water back type. But that is another story for another time.
Chapter "I" is as of this writing snow bound. We have about 8 inches of snow on
the ground, so ain't much riding going on. We are still in need of the prayers of our
Brothers and Sisters in SFC. We are in what I am calling a transition period. There are
lots of changes taking place in the Kingdom of God and those changes naturally affect
those who are involved in the work of His Kingdom.
The only plans we have at this point is a few cookouts to support local foreign projects
as well as our trip to nationals.
For anyone interested there is a new blog I highly recommend, it's mine.
The site can be found at http://babu.freeblogit.com/ it is called S.O.S.
You can choose which S.O.S., Save our Ship or Same old Sh..?
Censored for the holier than thou crowd.
In The Masters Service,
Heavy aka Babu
Chapter “J” (Shepherdstown, WV)
Well we had our shakedown run this past weekend 3/29/08. I am happy to report that my new S&S 96 held together just fine. We were going to ride to Mike’s Famous HD in Symrna DE. But we got as far as North East MD and I chickened out, got very cold (65 year old body). Overall we had a great time of fellowship. We stopped in Edgewood MD to see a couple of old friends we would really like to see them back in the ministry. We are all looking forward to seeing everybody in June. Please pray that my brother Donald and his wife Linda will be able to see their way clear to make Nat’l’s.
Rolling Thunder is Sunday, May 25th. We will be riding again this year, on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday we will ride in to beat the rush and visit some of the HD dealerships (open house), and Sunday we will ride in to see the parade. Once again we open our home to any brothers and sisters that want to go. Call Linda at (304)839-3915. We think this is probably the largest single day run in the US!
