MEMORIAL WEEKEND
FRIDAY MAY 23 to MONDAY MAY 26

Join me for our 11th annual Christian Biker outreach trip to Red River, New Mexico for the Memorial Weekend Motorcycle Rally!  SEE BELOW TO REGISTER.

As usual, I have paid reservations to hold several rooms, but we need an accurate head count by March 20--no exceptions.   We absolutely need to know by March 20 if you are going.
TOTAL Cost is $148 per person which **includes 3 nights lodging **and all your meals** FRIDAY, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY NIGHTS, May 23-26.  If you plan to come in on Thursday Night (which is when I roll in), there is an additional charge of 50 dollars per person which includes 3 additional meals.

Everyone razzes me for staying in hotels at the blistering hot rallies throughout the summer.  Fact is, after a hard day and night of outreach, I relish in a hot shower and a cold bed....Alone!  But the Red River trip is the one rally each year we participate in where the sleeping arrangement more closely resembles church camp!!   i.e.:   DORM STYLE.  (read below the Registration Space for more info on the arrangements.)

Couples in beds, singles on cots or in sleeping bags--first registered couples
get the beds.  Sorry, we do NOT have access to single rooms for
cozy couples or modest singles.

Space is limited as the entire town sells out 2 years in advance.  We have already paid to reserve a projected amount of space, but we must finalize it on the 20th of March.  So, if you can make the trip--and we hope you do--you will need to send a $75 deposit PER PERSON so that we receive it by March 20th.  You may also choose to send the entire amount of $148 per person at this time as we will have many expenses in preparation for the trip.  Email me with your headcount, and send your deposit to the address below by March 20th.

YOU Must REGISTER TO ATTEND THIS RALLY AND STAY WITH OUR GROUP AT THESE RATES:  (Rooms in Red River during this rally typically cost from $100 to $275+ per night.  The annual bill for our kitchen alone is almost $600--not including food.  And the restaurants change to a "tourist pricing" menu.  Anyone who has traveled to Red River in the off season has witnessed the HUGE pricing difference.  The entire town sells out 2 years in advance for this event.)  You're responsible for your own transportation to and from Red River--there should several groups heading up.  Our 11th trip to Red River.  Wow.  I can't believe I first rode solo to this sleepy town in 1998.  We have since then been faithful to this rally, and we have definitely earned the right to speak to the thousands of bikers who expect us to be there each year--same spot, same coffee and treats, same heart for the lost.  This year Mickey and Sandy have AGAIN committed to taking the Army Barracks Hospitality Tent we are familiar with from most Oklahoma area rallies.  This addition completely altered our outreach in this town in a major way.  We have a heated, lighted place to get inside and minister to these bikers from all over the world---right at the center of the gate to the rally!  There is rarely less than 15 visitors INSIDE the tent, and after 9pm we counted as high as 45 cold bikers inside nightly.  Each year on Saturday night we invite and cook for members of a National Motorcycle Club who are in Red River on official biker business.  What an awesome time we have showing the love of Jesus to these men and women.

The Red River Motorcycle Rally is one of a kind.  Nestled in a valley in the mountains of New Mexico at an altitude of 9,000 feet, the small ski resort town of Red River (native population 400) transforms itself into a mini Sturgis for Memorial Weekend with over 10,000 bikers from all over the country--in fact, the world.  The ministry opportunities, the food, the shows, the mountain scenery, the rides around the 100 mile Enchanted Circle--are all breathtaking.  Services are held each night at 5PM.  We set up the Christian Biker hospitality tent downtown with live bands and offer free coffee, fellowship and prayer for the entire weekend, even into the wee hours of the morning.  You will stay in a lodge with a fireplace, kitchen, full baths, and room for quite a few folks--couples in beds, singles on cots or in sleeping bags--first registered get the beds.  We cook all our meals, and our chief cooks -(My mom and stepdad)-are a real blessing to this event.  Just absolutely a great time of fellowship, food, and close-knit ministry.  From the lodge, it is one half mile to the outreach tent.  I usually ride back and forth, to see the sights, but many walk.

Call us if you have any questions, and we look forward to hearing from you.  Keep in mind, your PAID registration reserves a bed/space and tells us how much food to buy.
